We were (and still are!) keen to provide a one-stop-shop for all residential heating needs. We opened the first of our 'Greener Homes Showrooms' in Kells Business park in County Meath on February 17th, 2007. Minister Noel Dempsey officiated over the event and was quoted as saying 'For the first time, we are seeing the emergence of highly visible, state of the art energy services, which offer householders. businesses and community groups, a real opportunity to avail of cheaper, cleaner energy and to play their part in creating a better environmet for all.' Since then, we have moved our business to our current showroom in Blyry industrial estate, Athlone, Co. Westmeath (The heart of Ireland).
In this showroom, a wide selection of our top quality boilers, stoves and solar equipment can be viewed from Monday to Friday 8.30AM-5PM inclusive, by appointment at all other times. Our primary focus is currently on Biomass wood fuelled stoves and boilers, Solar Thermal, low energy homes and the energy management within these homes. Heat recovery ventilation combined with solar thermal and soon, Solar PV, will give homeowners the opportunity to live comfortably with very low fuel costs.
Our parent company, Greenbelt Ltd., was established in 1982 and has quickly become one of the most succesful private forestry investment companies in Europe. To date it currently manages 200,000 acres of private forestry in Ireland, with further investments across Europe and Central America. Greenbelt has developed a strong brand and with that, a loyal and satisifed customer base. It has a reputation for excellence through all elements of its practices and we are looking to continue this reputation with Resolutions.
The history of our company comes from a think tank within Greenbelt. Being in a uniquely strong position with regard to raw material for the renewable energy market, Greenbelt established Imperative Energy commercial. With the timber from it's plantations nationwide, Imperative energy can provide a localised Energy Supply to large residential and commercial projects. Early into it's life, Imperative Energy provided a comprehensive energy solution, including a solar installation, to the Abbey Manor hotel in Dromahair, Co Leitrim and also a new biomass boiler for a school in Donegal.
Having looked at the commercial market, it was quickly realised that a similarily open market was available on the residential side. Thus, along came RESOLUTIONS.
